At the end of March 2022 the Swiss Federal Council lifted the last remaining measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus and ended the special situation. Therefore, the guideline "Joint Guidance of Swissmedic and swissethics on the management of clinical trials with medicinal drug products in Switzerland during the COVID-19 pandemic" is no longer in force and is only published for information purposes.
