Access to official documents is free of charge. However, a fee may be levied if a request for access under the FoIA requires particularly extensive processing. This is considered to be the case when Swissmedic requires more than eight working hours to process a request for access. You will be charged CHF 100 per working hour beyond the limit of eight working hours. In this event, you will be informed in advance.
