Following feedback from industry, the Italian templates for Information for healthcare professionals for veterinary medicinal products and Information for healthcare professionals for immunological VMP have been further revised. In particular, the section headings have been largely returned to their status before 31 March 2022, i.e. adapted to the Italian version of EU template version 8.2. By contrast, the customary terms in Switzerland are used in the titles of sections 7 to 10. As a general rule, the titles should be used as shown in the templates. This also applies to standard information such as storage instructions. Companies may adapt previously authorised texts to the current template at their own responsibility when the opportunity arises. General text elements such as gender-inclusive wording are intended as suggestions and do not have to be applied by companies in this form.
The updated templates for Information for healthcare professionals for veterinary medicinal products and Information for healthcare professionals for immunological VMP are valid with effect from 1 January 2023.
