Complementary and herbal medicines are very popular and widely used in Switzerland. Various simplified authorisation procedures ensure that these medicinal products are available to the population. This report provides, among other things, an overview of the number of authorisations of complementary and herbal medicines with indication and complementary medicines without indication in 2021. It also gives a comparison of figures from previous years.
