Online instead of by e-mail or post: safety signals in market surveillance can now be communicated electronically.
On 6 September 2018 the Swissmedic Portal software is being updated. As of that date, the following functions will be available:
New eGov service
- eGov Safety Communication service
This market surveillance service enables companies to exchange messages and documents on safety signals with Swissmedic.
- eGov eSubmission service
- From now on, completed applications will no longer be flagged as "In completion" but as "Completed".
- For applications relating to veterinary medicinal products, a package leaflet can now be uploaded.
- eGov CPP service
The subject line in the e-mail will now indicate the reference.
The support documentation for the eGov services in question have been newly prepared or amended.
