Swissmedic turns 20! On 1 January 2002 the Swiss Therapeutic Products Act came into force, thus setting the stage for the creation of an independent Swiss therapeutic products agency. Over the past twenty years, Swissmedic has become a key partner for the safeguarding of public health in Switzerland.
